Create and manage your venue’s membership tiers
Configure membership tiers in SimBook around the benefits your club offers: included hours, early booking windows, member rates and perk bundles. Each tier defines how your own customers book and use your bays.
Use hour banks to track included play and punch passes for prepaid visits. Your staff can manage these alongside recurring memberships, so each customer’s booking benefits stay connected to their record.
Apply member benefits to your booking flow
A member should see the right rate and booking access without staff applying a manual discount every time. Configure the tier’s booking window and pricing benefits, and test a member’s booking alongside a public booking at the same time of day.
Reserve enough capacity for the public and for league nights. An attractive unlimited plan can still create a crowded peak-hour calendar. The revenue calculator lets you estimate expected member-hour use alongside public occupancy before you choose a price.
Automate your customers’ recurring billing
Connect Stripe for recurring membership payments. Membership renewals are handled through that connection, with payouts going to your account. Your software subscription and the processing of customer payments are separate costs.
Migrating a membership is more than copying a customer’s name. Review renewal dates, existing subscriptions, remaining hours and any discounts before switching the member’s billing. We can help review the setup on an onboarding call; a payment method or existing contract does not automatically transfer from every old provider.
Track membership status and remaining hours
Staff need to know whether a member is active, which benefit applies and whether hours or visits remain. Keep the membership record attached to the customer rather than maintaining a second spreadsheet of entitlements.
For your first launch, choose a small, understandable set of tiers. Publish the booking and cancellation rules, rehearse a member visit with staff, and review redemption and occupancy after a full billing cycle. Change the plan using your actual demand rather than assuming every member uses the same number of hours.
Common questions
- Can members book ahead of the public?
- Yes. Membership tiers can have their own early booking windows.
- Can I sell packs instead of a monthly membership?
- Yes. SimBook includes punch passes and hour-bank workflows.
- Are processing fees included in US$99?
- No. Customer payment processing is separate from the SimBook subscription.
