How the calculation works

Monthly capacity = bays × open hours × open days. Expected member use = members × expected redeemed hours. We subtract those hours before applying public occupancy to the remaining capacity. That prevents counting the same bay-hour as both a public booking and a membership visit.

Gross revenue = public booked hours × average public rate + members × monthly fee. The result subtracts your variable cost per occupied hour and fixed monthly costs. Include rent, payroll, software and other expenses in your assumptions. It excludes any costs you leave out, taxes, financing, refunds and additional food, beverage or lesson revenue.

This is a planning estimate, not a promise of demand. It treats the month as a pool of hours; it cannot predict whether member visits and public demand compete for the same peak slots. Review peak-hour capacity separately.
